Ibis

Improving the hotel booking experience for travelers around the world.

Role: Strategy, User Experience, Prototype & User Testing
Collaborators: Yiching Lin & Truc Trinh

Brief

Part of Accor Hotels, ibis is Europe’s leading economy hotel operator for providing their guests well-being at the best price. Fully equipped rooms, innovative bedding and 24 - hour reception services…

Our task was to redesign ibis’ desktop and mobile websites to offer customers a better booking experience. Part of our mission was to design and conduct 16 user testing sessions to validate our interfaces and interactions.

process

I worked on the wireframes, helped developing user testing guidelines and finally conducted the tests. After gathering user feedback, I prioritized the issues based on how important I expected them to be to users and to Accor Hotels and went back to designing.

For confidentiality reasons and because the project is not online yet, I can only show you a sneak peak of our user testing presentation.
